How to arrive
Because of its location in the historical city center, you must pay special attention on how to arrive to the hotel as some streets in Granada are closed for private traffic and only cars going to hotels are permitted access.
You can arrive to the very same door of the hotel by car where there is a loading/unloading zone for luggage, etc. Once here, the hotel receptionist will explain exactly where the Parking garage is with a special rate for our clients.
We inform you that unless you want to travel by car through the province, due to the unsurpassable location of the hotel, you don’t need a car. You can easily visit the city on foot or with public transportation. The main bus stops are one block away.
By Car
From the circunvalación, you take exit 131, in the direction of Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Granada.
When you pass the Palacio de Congresos continue to the Paseo del Violón in the direction city center until you reach Puerta Real. Continue to the right on Ganivet Street to the end and turn left onto San Matías Street. When you reach the end turn left into Plaza Isabel La Católica. From the Plaza continue straight ahead onto Gran Vía de Colón and take the second street to the right (Cetti Meriem). The street that follows to the right is Joaquin Costa (parallel to Gran Vía). Continue straight ahead to the door of the hotel, on the right hand side of the street.
During this journey you can follow the yellow informative hotel signs in Plaza Nueva-Carrera del Darro-Cuesta de Gomérez.
On San Matias street, you will see a sign “only access for residents and hotel clients” and there is a vigilance camera. For this reason, it’s important that the receptionist write down your license plate number on a daily list sent out to Trafico to avoid possible fines.
The city suffers from direction changes very frequently so we recommend not to use a GPS; it’s better to use a city map.
By Plane
The Granada Airport, called "Aeropuerto Garcia Lorca Granada-Jaén" is 15 km from the center. The other closest Airports are Málaga (130 km) and Sevilla (250 km).
There is a bus service from the Granada Airport to the city center. The closest stop to the hotel is 20 metres away on the Gran Vía de Colón Street. It costs 3 euros per person. There is also a taxi service which costs about 25-28 euros.
By Train and by Bus
Granada has daily communication by train and bus. The train station (RENFE) and bus station (ALSINA GRAELLS) are located in the city.
