Events & Festivities in Granada

Granada is a very vivacious city and proof of this is the wide array of "fiestas" and events that take place in the city throughout the year.

The festivals don't always have precise dates but, if you visit our city, perhaps you will be lucky to coincide with the film festival "Jóvenes realizadores", with the International Music and Dance Festival, or with any of the other many cultural events having to do with theater or music in our theaters and on our streets.

Among the most important fiestas are: The Day of the Cruz (May 3rd), Easter Week, Spring Fiesta (March 24th, 25th), San Cecílio Day(the Patron Saint of Granada which is February 1st), and the Granada Fair in June coinciding with Corpus Christi.
